Jennifer Bernard Hatfield’s work has taken a winding path that has come full circle and intesected itself at numerous points along the way. Presently, Jennifers work deals with simple forms that provide a canvas for rich surfaces. The vessels are playful yet provocative. Bold images beckon viewers to further investigate sumptuous exteriors. This body of work celebrates the union of the many artistic endeavors Jennifer has experienced. The pieces are made from red earthenware and decorated with terra-sigilattas.

The texture and depth result from sgraffito and resist techniques. All of the work is food safe and should be hand washed. It SHOULD NOT be used in the microwave
